چکیده

In the past decades, regenerative medicine applied on skin lesions has been a field of constant improvement for both human and veterinary medicine. The process healing cutaneous wound injuries implicates well-organized cascade molecular biological processes. However, sometimes normal fails can result in chronic lesion. addition, wounds are considered an increasing clinical impairment, due to progressive ageing population, as well prevalence concomitant diseases, such diabetes obesity, that represent risk-aggravating factors development lesions. Stem cells’ potential recognized worldwide, including towards lesion repair, Tissue engineering techniques have long successfully associated with stem cell therapies, namely application three-dimensional (3D) bioprinted scaffolds. With this review, we intend explore several sources promising aptitude regeneration, different used deliver those cells provide supporting extracellular matrix environment, effective outcomes. Furthermore, studies discussed, vitro vivo, terms their relevance regeneration field.

Exploring the application of mesenchymal stem cells in bone repair and regeneration.

Failure of bone repair is a challenging problem in the management of fractures. There is a limited supply of autologous bone grafts for treating nonunions, with associated morbidity after harvesting. There is need for a better source of cells for repair. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) hold promise for healing of bone because of their capacity to differentiate into osteoblasts and their availabil...

Application of Nanoscaffolds and Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Tissue Engineering

Stem cell research has obtained much prominence in recent years for its therapeutic potential in dealing with serious diseases, many of which are essentially incurable by routine therapies. Mesenchymal stem cells with pluripotency and immunomodulatory properties are suitable candidates for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Today, nanofibrous scaffolds are widely used in tissue en...

Mesenchymal stem cells for intervertebral disc repair and regeneration

Low back pain secondary to degenerative intervertebral disc disease contributes to significant pain and disability in the United States. The potential to reverse intervertebral disc degeneration has driven significant interest in the development of stem cell therapy for degenerative disc disease. Early animal models have demonstrated that stem cell therapy may facilitate the reversal of the dis...

Concise review: role of mesenchymal stem cells in wound repair.

Wound healing requires a coordinated interplay among cells, growth factors, and extracellular matrix proteins. Central to this process is the endogenous mesenchymal stem cell (MSC), which coordinates the repair response by recruiting other host cells and secreting growth factors and matrix proteins. MSCs are self-renewing multipotent stem cells that can differentiate into various lineages of me...

Osteopontin activates mesenchymal stem cells to repair skin wound

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are promising candidates for skin wound repair due to their capabilities of accumulating at wounds and differentiating into multiple types of skin cells. However, the underlying mechanisms responsible for these processes remain unclear. In this study, we found that osteopontin (OPN) stimulated the migration of MSCs in vitro, and observed the recruitment of endogeno...
